We are very pleased to have assisted Citrina with the recent approval of a producer/wholesaler licence for their new limoncello and mandarincello business in Sydney’s southwest. The application involved licensing a home office as part of a small residence based production setup at the same address, whereby sales of Citrina’s product can be made both directly to retail customers and wholesale clients.  It also involved ensuring the relevant development consent was modified so that the wholesale trading hours, which are 24/7 under this type of licence, were approved by Council.

Liquor licences for producers or wholesalers, large or small, regulate their core business activity. Restrictive licence conditions or trading hours can impact adversely on their proposed business model. For Citrina, clarity and attention to detail in the application process ensured that the development consent did not hinder the licence with planning inconsistencies to allow the business to produce and sell its boutique products, for delivery both on and from their licensed premises.
