Historic liquor licences require amendment and updates at times to ensure they remain commercially fit for purpose. As an example of such a case, we are delighted to have again assisted our clients at the Palms Eatery in Terrey Hills on the change of boundaries application for their premises.
Subdivision over the course of years caused the existing liquor licence to straddle two adjacent yet separate lots of land. With the intention of having two distinct licensed premises with separate operators, the Palms Eatery and the Palms Pavilions, on the lots, a change of boundaries application was required to modify the area to which the existing licence applied in order for a second licence to be sought and accommodated.
The Palms Eatery and the Palms Pavilions now enjoy the capacity to operate in separate capacities as two enterprises.
