URBNSURF have successfully applied for an on-premises (catering service) licence endorsed with a sale on other premises authorisation (SOOPA). This approval, for the Loft at the URBNSURF’s venue in Sydney Olympic Park, allows liquor to be supplied at catered events both on and off the premises. The SOOPA itself enables the sale and consumption of liquor on other unlicensed premises anywhere in NSW.
This approval will allow URBNSURF to expand the business’ group-hire component, especially where groups or friends and families can book both surfing sessions and catering packages for an array of specific events. URBNSURF’s new licence broadens an already attractive package for customers where they can relax or celebrate with a broader food and liquor offering after surfing elsewhere on the site.
